You might be asking yourself what meness really means. But it may be more likely that you are not, but either way, I am going to tell you.
Naming a blog is a seriously tricky manner, especially if you are trying to promote your work and yourself. So instead of dancing around the vanity of this idea I decided to come right out and call it meness. It’s like the word me, but with a little bit of flair. That’s it, that’s what meness is, all about me and not much about you. Wow that sounded more vain than normal. Oh well, if you are reading this that’s something.
My name is Paul, I am the proprietor of this site and offer a wide array of amateur entertainment. From illustration, film, and animation to long drawn out ramblings on what I think of this or that. sorry folks, it’s the Irish in me. I was born in Roseburg, Oregon and have moved all over (ok from here to Minnesota, then to Washington, and finally back here in Oregon) and have learned quite a lot on this journey so far and am looking forward to stepping out into the main stage as a professional animator and filmmaker sometime here soon. For the moment it’s all trial and error and my guide will be the internets. Using youtube and vimeo to watch what the pros do and then figure out how they do it and then apply it to my work. Expect great things to come and I look forward to showing you my finished work and how the hell I did it.
